However Robert it works the other way too if you take the "Private" lawyer to mean a really good criminal defense lawyer and the "private" lawyer to mean the kind that skull the hallways of courthouses pitching for clients. That Lawyer Dudehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00621463114160360197noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8477806.post-37527566163839810442008-11-25T04:26:00.000-05:002008-11-25T04:26:00.000-05:00I'm not a lawyer. I'm not even currently a client ...I'm not a lawyer. I'm not even currently a client of a lawyer, though I have used Legal Aid for a non-criminal case in the past. I came across your post by chance browsing, and read a bit simply because, though addressed to lawyers, it looked like something useful to potential clients--which every citizen is--and did not seem overly technical.

Soon, however, I got stuck:

"I pointed out that Private lawyers often have more experience with the law and with the Judges and Prosecutors than do private lawyers."

Looks like a mistake of some kind. Or your strange use of caps has a secret meaning. I'll check back in a day or two to see if a second reading gets me unstuck so that I can finish the post.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
